Paul joined us in September 2024 as Director of Learning and Teaching. Prior to Exeter School, he was at Dunraven School in south London where he was an associate senior leader and, prior to that, Head of English since 2012. He also had the role of specialist leader of education across London and the south east.
He grew up in Oxford and was educated at Magdalen College School. From there he went on to gain a first class degree in English literature and language from Royal Holloway. Following his PGCE, he studied for a master’s in teaching from the Institute of Education.
Away from his love of literature, theatre and the arts, Paul enjoys cycling, skiing, and mountain biking. He is looking forward to life in Devon with his wife and two children.
