Gillian is a former pupil of St Margaret’s School who studied in the sixth form at Exeter School. A Governor since March 2011, she is Chair of the Governors, Chair of the Governance Nominations and Remuneration Committee, and sits on the Finance and General Purposes Committees. She also provides expert advice on communications and health issues.
A Registered Nurse with an Honours degree in Community Health Care and an MSc in Management, she is currently Director of Communications, Marketing and Engagement for the South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
Gillian has two daughters – the eldest studying a degree course at Exeter University and the younger studying for her A Levels. The family live in Buckinghamshire but, of course, are very regular visitors to Exeter!
