Children can be dropped off from 7.30am if an earlier start is needed. While we do not provide food, they are welcome to bring breakfast with them. This service is supervised by school staff in the Nursery classroom and charged at £2.85 per half hour.

Classrooms open at 8.30am, when all children are welcome to come into the building. Children in Early Birds will also head to their classrooms and the school shuttle bus arrives at this time.

All children are expected to be in school by 8.50am when registers are taken. Each class gets ready for the day and lessons begin at 9.00am.
Lesson 1

All classes usually start the day with reading, phonics and English. All children read aloud one-to-one to an adult every day and have their reading book changed if it has been finished.
Assembly

All children, including the Nursery, have assembly in the hall every day with the Head. On Wednesdays, we enjoy singing assembly, and on Fridays, we celebrate stars of the week and other achievements.
Playtime

The children put their welly boots on to play outside in our acre of grounds. They are encouraged to eat a healthy fruit or vegetable snack and drink plenty of water.

Nursery and Reception enjoy Early Years free flow learning on most afternoons. Lessons for older children might include science, history, geography, art and design technology, computing or religious education.

From Reception, the children enjoy subject specialist teaching in PE, music, French, wellbeing, PSHE, Forest School and swimming. Children return to their classrooms to get ready for the end of the school day at 3.30pm.
After school clubs

There are two after school clubs on offer every evening from 3.30-4.30pm. Our after school care facility runs from 3.30-5.30pm daily and is supervised by school staff in the Nursery area.
