Movember charity ultramarathon

Posted: 21st November 2024

On 17 November, Mr Maidment, Mr Jones, Mr Hyde and Mr Pinner-Poustie completed their 60km ultramarathon just under their target time; raising over £2500, to date, for the Movember charity. An amazing achievement!

Reflecting on the challenge, Mr Pinner-Poustie said: “Doing the run was a really rewarding experience and I couldn’t have asked to do it with a better group of people. Despite some navigational issues along the way and a longer than anticipated bacon bap stop, we completed our run in just under our target time. We chose Movember as a charity because of all the vital work it has done to support men’s health. The distance of 60km was chosen to raise awareness around the 60 men we lose to suicide globally each hour”.

If you would like to donate to such a worthy cause, you can find the link to their Just Giving page, here.
