Eliza’s sailing success

Posted: 15th October 2024

Eliza, in Lower Sixth, has been selected for the British Youth Sailing Team, in the Nacra 15 class, recognising her potential to succeed at the highest level in Youth and Olympic sailing over the coming years. She has been selected based on her performances at recent selection events and the potential she has shown throughout training and competitive events observed by selectors, meaning that she will now get to take part in intense training weekends to help her further develop in the sport. These will involve a range of activities including time on the water, fitness training, classroom-based theory sessions and also give her the chance to work with specialist support staff and coaches.

We can’t wait to follow Eliza’s progress through the performance pathway and look forward to seeing all that she achieves in the future!
