Tuesday 1 October was a proud moment for the two colleagues of Exeter school CCF staff members. Our contingent commander Wg. Cdr. Smale and head of Army Section Maj Trim both received His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate For Meritorious Service. Amongst several winners, they were the only recipients to receive the award serving for the Combined Cadet Force.
His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate For Meritorious Service recognises the professional and personal achievements of those dedicated members of our County who volunteer, or work within our reserve forces or the Cadet movement. The certificate is regarded as one step below a national honour. As a school and CCF we are proud to see the efforts have been recognised for our two members of staff for all their hard work and dedication for the benefit of our cadets.
