Equestrian – riding the flag for Exeter School

Posted: 7th June 2024

Exeter School riders Ella (L6) and Lamorna (M5) had the amazing opportunity to compete at the National Schools’ Equestrian championships which took place at Hickstead at the end of May. It was a mixed few days in terms of results as sadly the course didn’t suit the young mare that Ella was riding with its mix of show-jumping and cross country jumps. However, Lamorna had a better round on Bampton and ended up 25th out of 260 competitors in the 80cm class and 11th as an individual in the 90cm eventers challenge. It was great to be able to represent the school in such a hugely competitive field.

Well done to both pupils.
