This past Thursday afternoon was a day of triumph and sportsmanship for our young athletes as they travelled to Plymouth to participate in the Plymouth Rugby Festival and Hockey Tournament.
Our U9 girls showed exceptional determination and skill as they dominated every game they played, leaving the field victorious in every match. The girls embraced the challenge and emerged with smiles on their faces, having relished every moment of a fantastic afternoon of hockey.
For our U8 boys, this tournament marked their very first rugby fixture for Exeter Junior School. The boys exemplified the true spirit of sportsmanship, making the school immensely proud with their exciting running rugby in what was a successful afternoon.
The U9 boys also showcased their skills at the Plymouth Rugby Festival, displaying exceptional running rugby and great tackling in all of their games. Their afternoon was very successful for the team who put in 5 great performances during the festival.
On the same afternoon, the U8 and U9 C teams played against a travelling St Johns team at Exeter School. The pupils had a great afternoon and learned a lot- a first fixture experience for many!
