The Exeter School Archive

Exeter School has an archive of records and artefacts relating to the school’s history which is housed in the Exonian Centre.

The archive includes copies of the school magazine, The Exonian, since its first publication in the nineteenth century, an extensive photo collection and many other fascinating artefacts. Alumni are always welcome to come and peruse the collection and, with prior warning, we can try and ensure that items of particular interest are available for you to view.

Mr Kevin White (1953-1961) has been our volunteer archivist for many years and is a font of knowledge on the school’s history. Mr Richard Fryer, former teacher and longstanding member of staff, is undertaking an exciting project to digitise more of our collection. We are grateful to Kevin and Richard for their support.

Digital archive

We also have a digital archive which includes electronic copies of many of our publications. This is open to all our alumni – please contact us to register, and receive a username and password.

Donating to the archive

We are very grateful for donations to the archive. Please get in touch with us to discuss your gift.

Wintry weather

There is wintry weather in the Exeter area. We understand that some families will experience delays in coming to school. Exeter School remains open but please do not take any risks in travelling to school today.
