Yesterday, the biology department welcomed the Explorer Dome for an interactive journey through the digestive system. All Fourth Form pupils participated, experiencing immersive visual displays that illustrated the journey of a food molecule takes through the body. Engaging hands on demonstrations brought the process to life — students were even sprayed with fake saliva and assisted in creating a realistic bowel movement. It was a fantastic educational experience which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed as well as embedding their understanding of our Nutrition and Digestion topic.
