Posted: 22nd January 2025

We are thrilled to announce that Toby P, in Upper Sixth, has won the prestigious Exeter University Economics Essay Competition. This national competition challenges A Level students to demonstrate their economics knowledge beyond the standard syllabus.

Toby emerged as the top student in the country, excelling in a highly competitive field. His winning essay addressed the economic case for using renewable energy sources to mitigate the costs of global climate change. Through meticulous primary research into the costs of transitioning to renewable resources and the economic impacts of this switch, Toby crafted an elegant and sophisticated argument.
