West of England runners up

Posted: 6th December 2024

Last Friday, the U14 girls hockey team travelled to Clifton College to compete in the West finals against qualifiers from all over the west of England. This proved to be a superb finale to a memorable season for a group of girls who have remained undefeated all season.  A draw against Hereford Cathedral School and wins against Dauntsey’s, Stonar School and Cheltenham Girls’ College saw them progress to the final against Kingswood. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be their day and a narrow 0 – 1 defeat to Kingswood School meant that they finished as West runners up. This is an amazing achievement and they should be very proud of how they have done all season, well done girls.
