Exeter School hosted the Medsoc MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews) on Saturday morning in our library space which was set up for a rotation of interviews. Our aspiring medics and vets from our Upper Sixth year all came in prepared to be questioned.
We were very lucky to have fourteen local doctors giving up their Saturday morning to attend and provide a superb opportunity and experience of mini interviews for our Upper Sixth pupils aspiring to study medicine and veterinary science. Each pupil consulted with all fourteen interviewers and, after a 5 minute interview, received valuable feedback before moving on.
A huge thank you to Emma Hartsilver, a consultant anaesthetist at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, who has coordinated the medical team and provided the questions for the event for many years. As she hands over the baton this year, we would like to say a particular thank you to her for all her help and hard work!
