GB Youth Sailing Success

Posted: 4th November 2024

Over half term, Eliza, in Lower Sixth, took part in her first international NACRA 15 sailing event. She sailed for the GB Youth Sailing Team at the World Championships in Barcelona alongside her team partner, Will. This was her first international event and in the final results the pair were placed as the second British boat out of 9 and 55th overall out of 79 boats with boats competing from the USA, New Zealand, Australia, France, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and UK. An incredible achievement.

Congratulations to them both!
