On Saturday 12 October, Upper Sixth donned their smartest clothes and attended Ashford’s Legal Offices to push themselves outside of their comfort zone for a formal interview experience.
An enormous thank you to all our interviewers for volunteering their time, expertise, and feedback. The pupils have been very positive and grateful for the experience, and the feedback given to develop their skills for their next interview. 100% of pupils said that it was worth taking part in…even on a Saturday!
Here are some of the pupils’ comments about the day:
“It was great to have a mock interview in a professional environment and practice soft skills.”
“The interview was great due to the ability we had to talk to industry leaders. This was further helped by the instant feedback that was offered. Alongside very engaging and relevant questions that were asked.”
“I now feel confident to go into another interview with this behind my belt.”
We are very grateful to Ashford’s for allowing us to use their facilities for another year, as part of their support for the community. As a thank you, the school has continued this community giving by donating to the Trussell Trust, the local food bank charity they support.
