Cricket U15s play Millfield

Posted: 14th June 2024

The U15’s unfortunately ended their fantastic cup run with a defeat to Millfield school. Having lost the toss and been asked to bat, Exeter had moved to 25 without loss when 3 wickets in 3 balls putting a halt to the solid start made by the openers. Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals until Max N (M5) joined Ben L (L5) at the crease to combine for a counterattacking partnership of 35, scoring 22 and 24 respectively to help Exeter School to a score of 113 all out.

Millfield completed the chase 3 wickets down, despite being tested by some energetic fielding and bowling from Exeter, with Mo K (L5) spell of 8 overs 3-15 being the highlight.
