Junior artist of the moment – Grace from Upper One and Bethanie from Lower Two

Posted: 17th May 2024

The art department regularly awards the title, ‘Artist of the Moment’ to recognise the achievements of individual pupils in the junior school section of our co-educational day school. Entries cover a wide range of disciplines, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, installation and mixed media.

Grace from Upper One and Bethanie from Lower Two are our artists of the moment. Both children entered the Royal Academy’s Young Artist competition and received certificates of participation for their work.

Bethanie sculpted two clay models entitled ‘We love flowers’.

Grace painted her piece called ‘The adventure of the cat and the girl’.

Both children have demonstrated wonderful creativity and we are very proud of them, well done!
