During a busy two week period the school cricket squads have been involved in lots of cricket with blocks against Wellington, Queen’s Taunton and Blundell’s as well as the national ESCA U15 cup and Devon county cups. It has been great to see so many teams in action. The girls’ cricket teams have been in excellent form with the 1st XI, U15 and U13 squads all playing against Blundell’s recently. They were also involved in matches against Queen’s Taunton and The Maynard. A special mention to Thea (L5) and Isla (4F) who had an excellent day with Thea scoring a match winning 30 not out and Isla taking 3 wickets.

The boys teams had an excellent set of results against Blundell’s last Saturday with wins for the 1st XI, 2nd XI, U14AB and all three lower school teams. Highlights included an excellent innings from 1st XI captain Harry M (66) and a superb performance with the ball from Mo in the U14As (3 wickets). Mo also teamed up with Josh in the U15 ESCA national cup to bowl their team to success against Bryanston. They will now face Cathedral School, Cardiff in the next round of the competition.
