On Friday 8 March, seven members of the charity committee visited Vranch House, a school for children with special needs. Through our collaboration with the Wooden Spoon charity in the autumn term, we helped raised money for the school to build a new sensory walk. We were delighted to be invited to the opening of this (by the mayor himself!) which took place on Friday. Whilst we were at Vranch House, we were also given a fantastic tour of the school, meeting many of the pupils and learning about some of the equipment and technology which greatly enhances the lives of those with special needs.
We really hope they will get much enjoyment out of their sensory walk.
