Netball success

Nell Smith

It’s been a really busy week of netball with a weekend block against West Buckland last Saturday ahead of a mid-week block against St Peter’s, Exeter and a 1st VII match against Plymouth College on Wednesday. It was great to see so many teams representing the school last Saturday with A,B and C teams at U12 and U13 level and three senior teams involved in the afternoon matches. There was also lots of success with a clean sweep against St Peter’s on Tuesday and a 29-17 win for the 1sts. In other netball news 1st VII player Nell (L6) continues to excel for Team Bath U17s. Nell was named co-captain ahead of the NPL season and has been influential in their first two matches, a friendly against Loughborough Lighting and an opening win against Severn Stars. Nell will be back in action against Surrey Strom in two weeks’ time, we wish her the very best of luck for the rest of the season.
